The On-The-Job Training program provides an opportunity for unemployed workers to learn a new trade while being paid up to 26 weeks. The goal is for workers to learn while on the job which can lead to full-time employment.
The One-Stop Center is staffed with an OJT specialist for those seeking more information and discuss current employers participating in the program.
Who qualifies for WIOA Funding?
Workforce funding is generally budgeted into Adult, Dislocated Worker, and Older Youth categories. The majority of funding is budgeted towards adult and dislocated workers who are unemployed, and others who can qualify based on specific criteria.
Education And Training Grants
Cape May Countys Workforce Development program offers eligible residents education and training grants up to $4,000, and paid On-The-Job-Training opportunities.

Get A Job Build A Career
Our career center services are available at two, full-service One-Stop Career Centers located on the east and west sides of Baltimore City, the Employment Connection Center in South Baltimore, and the Workforce Reception Center for those receiving TANF benefits, and partner sites in neighborhood-based Community Job Hubs.
At the one-stop centers, MOED staff and workforce partners with expertise in specific job preparation areas provide comprehensive and seamless delivery of services. Customized services are provided onsite for persons who are unemployed or underemployed and for targeted populations, such as the previously incarcerated, veterans, disabled persons, and seniors. Services include:
- Recruitment events for job openings
- Job search assistance
- Digital Learning Labs to learn basic computer skills
- Self-service access to telephones, copiers, scanners, printers and fax machines,

Important Message Regarding Covid
The Career Center is providing career services to the public. The staff has been in the office since mid-July on a rotating basis and was fully staffed on October 5th. The Business Representatives remain remote but are providing services to employers and job seekers. They and staff from the Workforce Development Board are sending out job leads to thousands of job seekers a week in a project that began back in March and continues today.
The One-Stop Career Training Center is offering orientation sessions each Friday at 10 providing job seekers information about the center’s services and information about training grants. Since the GRWDB is the recipient of additional training dollars we are actively seeking unemployed residents interested in obtaining free training opportunities in a number of in-demand fields.
Customers who need to file new Unemployment Insurance claims are asked to apply online. Customers unable to access the Internet should call the following numbers: North Jersey, 201-601-4100 Central Jersey, 732-761-2020 Southern Jersey: 856-507-2340. The state Department of Labor is taking steps to transition other services, including Temporary Disability Insurance, Family Leave Insurance, and Workers Compensation, to online and telephone platforms.
One Stop Career Center
The SUNY Erie Career Center is funded by the Buffalo and Erie County Workforce Development Consortium, Inc. on behalf of the Workforce Development Board of Buffalo and Erie County, Inc. Language translation assistance is available for Workforce Investment and Opportunity Act and Trade Act services via telephone through LanguageLine Solutions, Inc.
COVID-19 In-Person Services Update: The SUNY Erie Career Center is pleased to welcome constituents back to our North Campus Career Center in Gleasner Hall in Suite G166 on Youngs Road in Williamsville. In-person hours at the North Campus Career Center are Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Due to SUNY COVID-19 testing guidelines, visitors are permitted on campus for up to one hour.

The Massachusetts One Stop Career Center provide a wide array of services to assist job seekers return to work.
Once you have received your first unemployment check, you will receive notification to participate in the RESEA program. You will be required to attend a Career Center Seminar
The first step to accessing career center services is to attend a Career Center Seminar . At the CCS you will learn about the wide variety of career center services to help you with your job search. You will complete an Individual Needs Assessment and with the help of career center staff, you will begin to develop a Career Action Plan which will connect you to career center services such as:

Florida Flood Zones And Natural Disaster Risks
The Federal Emergency Management Agency has developed flood maps that clearly delineate areas of the United States that are most vulnerable to flooding events these maps are known formally as Flood Insurance Rate Maps. Communities use these FEMA maps to set minimum building requirements for coastal areas and floodplains. In addition, lenders use the maps to help define flood insurance requirements. In Florida, its important to note that most, if not all, properties are located within either a high-, medium- or low-risk flood zone.
High-risk flood areas begin with the letters A or V on FEMA flood maps and face the highest risk of flooding. Moderate- to low-risk flood areas are designated with the letters B, C, and X on FEMA flood maps. The risk of being flooded in these areas is greatly reduced when compared to high-risk areas, but it is not completely removed. One in three insurance claims originates within moderate-risk to low-risk flood areas. To find out what flood zone your property falls into, you can use FEMAs Flood Map Service Center and input your address.
Even small steps can make a big difference in reducing your risk of substantial damage and financial loss in the event of a hurricane or other flood-related event. According to the National Institute of Building Sciences, for every $1 of federal funding invested in mitigation, your community can expect to save $6 in future disaster recovery costs.
