This job fair will be held in conjunction with the Whats Next? Career Expo for Youth, a teen pregnancy prevention initiative offering training and development sessions for youth, ages 14-24. Sessions include pregnancy prevention, mental health, nutrition, and financial literacy. Whats Next? attendees will also have the opportunity to explore job opportunities, career paths and receive important information about CareerSource Polks Summer Youth Internship.

Canadian Parents for French Manitoba is a nationwide, research-informed, volunteer organization that furthers bilingualism by promoting opportunities to learn and use French for all those who call Canada home. CPF acts as an advocate for French Second Language programs, such as French Immersion and Basic French, by providing information and practical support to parents who wish to establish new FSL programs in their communities.Through the Action Plan for Official Languages 2018-2023, the Federal government announced a significant investment towards the recruitment and retention of teachers for French immersion and French as a second language. This strategy aims to overcome the challenges that Canada is facing with a shortage of French-language teachers. With this initiative, CPF Manitoba promotes careers of teaching in French.
