Mobile App Enhances Indiana Career Connect
INDIANAPOLIS Looking for a jobjust got a whole lot easier, thanks to the mobile app called ICC Jobs availablefrom the Indiana Department of Workforce Development. Job seekers in Indianahave the option to use the app created for the states job board, IndianaCareer Connect .
DWD launched the mobileapp to complement ICC and expand the reach, flexibility and use of Indianaspremier job search portal. The modernized ICC, launched in 2016, was accessedby over 215,000 unique visitors in 2017 and included nearly 120,000 jobpostings and more than 60,000 résumé postings last year.
The free app can bedownloaded from the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store by searching for ICC Jobs. New users can register anaccount via the app or access open positions using the guest loginfeature. Current ICC website users can use the same sign-on credentialscreated on the ICC website to access the ICCmobile app.
The ICC mobile appis a perfect complement to the Indiana Career Connect site itself, said DWDCommissioner Fred Payne. It gives job seekers an anytime, anyplace opportunityto stay connected with the current job market while also giving the ability toupdate personal resume and skill attributes for employers to see.
