What Is Career Solutions
Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee is a 5013 nonprofit organization whose mission is changing lives through education, training and employment. Career Solutions is the mission arm of Goodwill helping thousands of Tennesseans each year to find meaningful work and build careers. Many Career Solutions clients are unemployed, underemployed or face some barrier to employment, such as a disability, a lack of a diploma or a history of incarceration. However, almost all of Goodwills numerous programs and services are available to the general public free-of-charge, thanks to the generosity of Goodwills shoppers and donors. Donate clothes and other household items in Ontario. Charities such as Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and more will pick up your donations for free.

Goodwill has developed employment options and a support network of professional staff to create customized, effective solutions for local companies. When employers hire a Goodwill candidate, they realize multiple positive outcomes.
Employment Services encompasses community employment and job placement in seven counties in the Greater Milwaukee area.
- Goodwill is a cost-effective resource for well-screened, qualified candidates because employers are not charged a fee for its services.
- Employers who hire Goodwill candidates are eligible for tax credits.
- Companies save time and money because Goodwill carefully screens, and oftentimes, trains potential candidates before they are hired. Job coaches are also available to assist new employees and employers.
- Employers are improving the communities where we all live by hiring people with barriers to employment. The wages earned by these new employees are reinvested in the community, contributing to the overall strength of the economy.

We employ over 1,200 people through our Community Stores, Donation Centres, sorting/recycling, manufacturing and hospitality programs, providing good jobs with real on-the-job work experience, a living wage and benefits while helping to address barriers that sometimes prevent people from finding and keeping a job such as mental or physical illness, youth that are at-risk and new Canadians.
