What high school are you from? 12th grade at Cape Central

What made you choose Marketing? I have always been good with numbers and my dad encouraged me to go into Accounting. I realized that Marketing has an aspect of accounting, so I thought this would be a good fit for me.

What are your plans after high school? I want to finish my degree at Mineral Area since I’m already getting free credit. I also have an interest in photography.

What have you learned that has made a difference to you? Budgeting–I know that sounds weird, but because of Mr. Baremore’s class, I know what to look out for when I become an adult. I know what to do with my money and what not to do. He sets us up for success.

What advice do you have for a student considering to be a student at the CTC? Choose something you truly love and not just what your friends are taking. Don’t goof around your freshmen and sophomore year because you may not be able to come if you do.

What are your hobbies? I enjoywriting poems and stories, editing photos, dressing up, and hanging out with my two-year-old brother.

What is one thing about you that would surprise people? I am very talkative once you get to know me and will say what I think .

What high school are you from? I am a senior at Woodland High School.

What made you choose Auto Collision? I have always enjoyed working on cars and with my hands. I wanted to try this out to see if this is something I wanted to make a career out of.

What are your plans after high school? I want to go to Ranken Technical College or Mineral Area–depending on scholarship money.

What have you learned that has made a difference to you? I’ve learned you have to prioritize your time when working. Communicating with the customer, with your classmates, and with your boss is huge! You have to be able to analyze the work that has to be done and give the customer a date that you can have it finished by. You have to communicate with your classmates and let me know what you’ve done on that vehicle in case they have to pick up where you left off the next day. You also have to pay attention to the little details. It makes a big difference how it looks on the outside and everyone judges you by how the outside looks.

What advice do you have for a student considering to be a student at the CTC? Make sure you have all your other high school credits done because, if you don’t, you won’t be able to attend CTC. I know someone who slacked off their freshmen and sophomore year and wasn’t able to come here because of being behind credits.

What are your hobbies? working on cars, hunting, and fishing
