Why Should I Take Multiple Personality Tests
Most of us have probably signed up for a movie and TV streaming platform like Netflix, Amazon Prime, or Disney+. But have you ever felt like there should be one service that collates all those shows into one platform at one price? Personality tests feel the same way at times too. We take one personality test and it tells us a thing or two about us, but might miss out on one key element or another. So what we do is take another personality test for individual or team analysis.
Lets take a look at one example: Lets imagine one organization named XYZ corporation wants to understand its teams personality profiles to improve workplace dynamics. So they take the Big Five Personality test and pay over $135 for it. But the Big Five Personality traits is too broad or descriptive. So then a company proceeds to take a test like Myers-Briggs to cover that base. But then Myers-Briggs might be lackluster in some areas too.

Why Should I Take An Employment Personality Test
There are two reasons you may want to take an employment personality test: for personal insights or to prepare for a job application.
Personal Insights
Employment personality tests can tell you a lot about how you work best and what types of roles youre suited for. For example, a high score in leadership suggests you may want to look into jobs that enable you to be in charge of a team. These tests can also help you pinpoint areas of professional development where you could stand to improve. If you score poorly on scales of organization and time management, this is a good indication that you may want to work on these skills a little more.
Preparing for a Job Application
An increasing number of employers are requiring candidates to take a personality test as part of the job application. Employers use this information to find the best fit for their open positions. Taking one of these personality tests before you are asked to do so as part of your application can show you how youre presenting yourself to potential employers and what you can do to improve their impression of you.
Keep Taking Practice Tests
This is probably the best way to ace the personality tests. While you want to make a good impression, casting extreme answers to every question may actually hurt your chances of getting your hands on that particular role youre rooting for.
For Example, a system analyst or project lead has more interaction with stakeholders than a programmer, so they need a high score on social interaction. So, it is advisable to take tests that would help them strengthen their social interaction traits. You can keep improving your scores by modifying your answers.
