Adult Basic Skills & Ged Test Preparation Program

This free program is designed for students 18 or older who dont have a high school diploma and need to prepare for the GED® exam. You will participate in classes which include all four subjects for the GED® test: math, science, social studies and reasoning through language arts. The solution implemented by Advanced Automation is characterized by the full automation of every single step throughout the entire assembly process. The production of anti-lock braking systems runs on three different assembly lines. Stäubli six-axis robots of the RX160 and TX90L series take on handling tasks of all kinds during the measuring up, screwing and assembly stages of the process.

The system integrator has put a great deal of know-how and experience into operational design. Even complex processes have been refined to the extent that the robot does not have to release a component in order to adjust its grip on it. The reasoning behind this is clear: any reorientation involving temporary release would eat up valuable fractions of a second and frustrate the quest for the shortest cycle times. ABE 003 OWABE ORIENTATION The Oregon Adult College and Career Readiness Standards support students in developing the knowledge and skills they need to achieve their goals as family members, workers, community members, and lifelong learners. ABE Orientation covers the OACCRS standards. Prerequisite: CASAS score with the range of 219 and below

ABE 010 OBABS MATH 1 The introduction of the Oregon ABS Learning Standards, using math for a variety of purposes by iintegrating their knowledge, skills and strategies in following the math process, so students can use math to solve problems and communicate their results. Prerequisites: CASAS Score less than 220

ABE 015 OBLANGUAGE ARTS I Adult learners exiting this level can independently read with understanding. Appropriately use both everyday and specialized vocabulary and a limited variety of simple and complex sentence structures in multiple coherent steps or a few well-constructed and linked paragraphs to convey ideas, with several supporting facts/details/examples reflecting judgment regarding appropriate language and level of formality for the intended audience.

National External Diploma Program

The NEDP® is designed for adult learners as an alternative to taking the GED® exam. This online, performance-based program provides a unique way to earn a high school diploma without taking classes or completing a series of tests. Rather, you will complete program requirements by working independently on a series of assigned tasks or competencies, at your own pace. During this time you will meet periodically with a trained NEDP® advisor to develop a portfolio that proves you have the skills required to be awarded a Maryland High School Diploma. NEDP® measures academic and life skills such as reading, writing, math, oral communication, critical thinking, self, social, occupational awareness and other workforce skills.

This program is a very good fit for self-directed learners who dont thrive in a classroom environment or have difficulty with standardized testing.

High School Equivalency Test Center

• Must be a resident of New Jersey
• Have not graduated from an accredited high school or received a High School diploma or equivalency certificate.
• Must be at least 16 years old and officially withdrawn from school

Please note, registration cannot be completed the day of the test.

2. Scroll and select HiSET Register/ Sign In

3. Under New Users, create an account.

• Make sure your address is your permanent address and be sure to include your social security number to avoid reporting delays with the State.

4. After your account has been created, on the My HiSET Homepage select Register/Find Test Centers.

• Search for Rowan College at Burlington County.

5. Rowan College at Burlington County -CBT will populate along with a map and address. Hit schedule appointment.

6. After answering a few questions, select the date and time you wish to test. Also select the subject you wish to take on those dates. Hit add to cart.

Mathematical Reasoning For The Ged Test

This program is designed to review math skills needed for the GED® test and provide instruction in number sense and operations, data analysis, algebra, geometry, and test-taking strategies. This course meets virtually twice a week, with required completion of assignments outside of class. After successful completion, you can take the GED Ready® Math practice test at no cost. Enrollment is based on documentation of passing scores on the Science, Social Studies and Reasoning through Language Arts sections of the GED® test.
